A Fun Day

Yesterday we were able to go the American Museum of Radio and Electricity in Bellingham. We were first given a 1 1/2 hour guided tour. Then we were able to walk around and ask questions.

We were able to play the Theremin, the first electronic musical instrument. We saw some fun static electricity demonstrations. They boys were able to record their voices on a wax cylinder just like Thomas Edison did. We saw old radios, music boxes, phonographs, Morse code machines, laden jars, and a lot more. Most of which we could play with. It was great.
